Cucchi: two carabinieri sentenced to 13 years for beating

The two carabinieri Alessio Di Bernardo and Raffaele D'Alessandro, accused of having beaten Stefano Cucchi, were sentenced to 13 years for unintentional murder.

This was decided by the judges of the Court of Assiste D'Appello in Rome. 

In the appeal process, the carabiniere Roberto Mandolini received a slight discount from his sentence, going from 4 and a half to 4 years, while Francesco Tedesco saw his sentence of two years and six months confirmed.

For them the accusation is false.

 "My thoughts go to Stefano and my parents who are not here today in the classroom. It is the high price they have paid in recent years".
