(ANSA) - TEL AVIV, MAY 07 - Violent clashes are underway in Jerusalem on the Esplanade of the Mosques (Temple Mount for the eberi) between police and Palestinian demonstrators in the last Friday of Ramadan.
Dozens of demonstrators - according to the media - remained at the site at the end of the prayers and began to test against the evictions of Palestinian families in the district of Sheikh Jarrah in the eastern part of the city. According to Israeli public television, several injuries are reported among the demonstrators. The police also closed the Damascus Gate.
