With 25,000 books sold for the first volume and 20,000 for the second, Mashle rose to fourth place among the best manga start-ups in France. But this new series is above all a success for Kazé, who had never known such a launch. Pierre Valls, the editorial director of the publishing house, also wanted to thank the partner bookstores who made this feat possible despite the many constraints due to the pandemic. Out of stock, the first two books have been reprinted. Currently, the Mashle saga has 6 volumes, but it is still being released in Japan.
In France, the third episode is expected on June 2, and three other volumes should also be released by the end of the year

Mashle: A humorous manga by Komoto Hajime
Mashle follows the story of Mash Burnedead, a young boy who was raised in a forest.
His days are divided between intense sports sessions and meals composed mainly of cream puffs.
Unfortunately, Mash was born without magical powers, a flaw that can cost him his life ... Indeed, in a universe where magic reigns supreme, he risks the death penalty.
After being unmasked by the police, he finds himself forced to enter a school of magic.
And if he wishes to escape his doom, he will have to prove to everyone that he is capable of becoming the best student in the academy.
Behind pervasive humor and powerful action scenes, Mashle also hides deeper reflections on society.
