(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 08 - The toll of the explosions in front of a girls' school in Kabul has risen to 55 dead and more than 150 injured, many in very serious conditions. A security official told Reuters.
The explosions were caused by a car bomb and then by mortars inside the car, added the senior official who wanted to remain anonymous.
The official death toll - many of the institution's students - reported by the country's Interior Ministry is still 30, while local sources cited by Emergency in the evening had spoken of 40 victims. (HANDLE).
