Jogging can lead to hallucinations.
At least when someone has previously poured appropriate substances into the iso drink.
The first fatality was haunted by delusions on his running route, and the new jogger Bibi also threatened to go crazy in the end due to an involuntarily ingested substance.
In this "crime scene" from Vienna, where otherwise everyone likes to indulge in drunkenness and gluttony, otherwise strict attention was paid to healthy eating and exercise.
It was about a conspiracy of civil servants in the fitness mania who indulged each other and even sabotaged each other in their leisure marathons.
In our review we wrote: »One looks in vain for ambivalences in this crime thriller.
Morally, all characters are clearly located, the plot has few surprises in store.
The malevolence literally drips out of the breathable clothing of the civil servants.
In return, it succeeds (...) in giving the old genre of the political conspiracy thriller a perfidious, refreshed look: Where people used to smoke and drink while spinning intrigues in the government environment, today people go jogging and drink herbal tea.
Running track instead of back room: Corruption has recently become a fitness sport. "
We gave 7 out of 10 points.
How did you like the crime thriller?
“Conspiracy” was the fifth “crime scene” in Vienna within eight months.
The fact that the timing of the broadcast has increased so drastically (usually two to three episodes run in a year) is due to the corona crisis: Due to production jams, ARD currently has to add what is available to the program at »crime scenes«.
All finished Eisner / Fellner thrillers have now been shown.
Two more are to be created this year - but they will not be broadcast until 2022.
