The ideal finger food for everyone who likes deep-fried - and spicy food: jalapeños filled with cream cheese and deep-fried.
It's getting fiery!
“How do you start with the article?” - that was my thought before the following lines found their way onto virtual paper.
Because: Somehow a recipe contribution has to start.
Usually no problem: you rant about how tasty the dish looks or how good it smells.
Or that it is so right at this time of year *.
But none of this applies to our recipe for today ... It is definitely worth reading the next few lines and watching the 60-second video below!
Where there is fried food, it stinks of fat ...
Yes, you have to say that.
If you implement this recipe, you should do it outdoors, if possible.
Because we deep-fry.
And who wants to have this smell hanging in the kitchen or living area?
We prepare
filled jalapeños
.
These can be filled with cream cheese, coated with bacon and then cooked on the grill - I call these jalapeno poppers.
Or you can leave the bacon aside, bread the filled jalapeños and then deep-fry them.

Despite the inconspicuous appearance and smell - a real taste explosion
And that's exactly why I struggled so hard starting this article.
The fried jalapeños don't look that gigantic now.
And actually smell like nothing.
But, and that is a very big “but”, because: the moment you bite into it, it tears you: a brutally
crispy breading
.
Then you come across a very fruity layer.
Sure, the pulp of the jalapeño.
Followed by soft and mild-tasting cream cheese.
And now the
taste explosion is
complete.
Jalapeños are too hot?
No problem!
Jalapeños are available in
different degrees of spiciness
.
No question.
I've implemented the recipe twice.
With jalapeños from the same seller.
They looked the same too.
But the first time it was just almost too hot.
The second batch, several weeks later, tasted much milder.
But now it comes: for
those
who are “spicy”, even if it's just a little too much: simply
switch
to
roasted peppers
or avoid them.
You can find them in every supermarket.
They are about the same size as jalapeños and are not spicy at all.
The perfect party appetizer in every season
Correct!
This snack fits every season and every party.
In addition, the little things are prepared relatively quickly and can also be kept
warm
in the oven at 80 degrees
for an hour or two
.
But I have to admit: I have already eaten it when I was cold ...
