Netflix now offers four seasons of Castlevania.
And what about a 5th season?
Unfortunately, there is bad news for fans of the anime.
"Castlevania" is known to many as a video game.
In 2017, Netflix * finally adapted the games as a series.
There are now
four seasons
that tell the story of Trevor Belmont and his allies.
The creators implemented the production in a drawing style based on anime - and with a view to the high number of seasons, it was very well received.
On May 14, 2021, one day after the release of Season 4, Castlevania rose to 8th place in the Netflix Top 10.
A success that could speak for a 5th season.
It is already known whether there will be a sequel or not.
Unfortunately, the decision of the streaming service should not please all fans.

Castlevania: That's what the Netflix anime is about
The demons of the vampire Count Vlad Dracula Tepes haunt the area of Wallachia in Romania after the inhabitants burned his wife as a witch.
Trevor Belmont, the magician Sypha Belnades and Dracula's son Alucard join forces to save the people and to put an end to the hauntings.
Together they manage to kill Dracula.
However, the protagonists soon have to deal with new vampires and monsters that give them a lot of trouble.

Even before the fourth season was released, Netflix made a decision about the fate of "Castlevania":
There will be no more season five
.
So the story got its round ending after the final 32nd episode.
Nevertheless, possible spin-offs cannot be ruled out.
It is currently unclear whether they will appear or not.
Alternatively, however, the streaming service offers other animes, such as "High-Rise Invasion".
In addition, a remake of the series "Shaman King" will be released soon.
