The toilet seat is not a good toy.
A two-year-old child had to learn that on Wednesday in Dresden.
In the rather unusual operation, the fire brigade had to free the child from a children's toilet seat, as the officials have now announced.
The child had put the plastic seat over his head while playing.
Because the seat had slipped up to the child's neck, the parents could not free their offspring themselves and dialed the emergency number.
The fire brigade split the seat and helped the child out of the emergency.
The use was quite unusual, but according to the fire brigade it is not an isolated case.
This year, the emergency services had to rescue several unlucky people from unfortunate situations: For example, a seven-year-old who was stuck with her head in the back of a chair and a young woman who was stuck in a children's swing in a playground.
Even a squirrel was saved.
It had fallen into a ten-meter-deep shaft from which the firefighters helped it out.
