Eddie Van Halen, Eric Clapton and Aerosmith guitars as well as autographed Beatles memorabilia will be auctioned through the Iconic Auctions site.
This sale, called The Amazing Music Auction, ends on Saturday April 15 and will feature a very special lot: Kurt Cobain's hair, cut by one of his friends in 1989, with a starting stake of 2,500. dollars.

In addition to the six blonde locks of the grunge icon, a series of objects from the universe of Nirvana will be part of the auction, including a rare blue Stratocaster-type guitar signed by the group and a Marshall amp that belonged to Cobain. The latter has, moreover, written a "Kurt" in the upper right corner. The band used this piece in particular in the 1990s, as well as in their

As for the lot with the highest stakes, it is a dark blue collarless jacket, tailor-made for Paul McCartney.
The marvel is still worth $ 25,000 and was carried on stage during a six-part concert suite held in 1963 at the Gaumont Theater, Bournemouth, England.
Tricia Eaton, batch manager at Iconic Auctions, also specifies that the jacket is one of the first pieces of clothing worn on stage by a Beatles to be marketed.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale will go to the Crew Nation, a relief fund for live music tours and venue crews facing severe financial hardship, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
