Leg injury for Robert De Niro while he was busy in Oklahoma for the new film by Martin Scorsese, the noir Killers of the Flowers Moon.
The site Tmz first reported it but the news was confirmed by newspapers such as Deadline and Variety.
The incident did not happen on set or during filming and the actor has already returned to New York to be examined.
There are no details on the severity of the injury but the production of the feature film will not be delayed because it seems that the interpreter of Taxi Driver had already shot most of his scenes.
The film is based on David Grann's bestseller and is set in 1920 in Oklahoma. It evokes the series of over 60 murders and disappearances that took place between 1921 and 1926 of Native Americans belonging to the Osage Nation, in an area rich in the presence of oil in the territory. Crimes also known as Osage's reign of terror. The story also traces the intergovernmental investigation into the facts, in which the FBI took part.
A few days ago the first official image of the film came out, with DiCaprio in the role of Ernest Burkhart, and Lily Gladstone in the role of Mollie Burkhart, an Osage woman who falls in love with Ernest.
