The beginning of the year 2021 is not magical for Disney.
All branches of the company saw their revenues decline in the first quarter.
The only exception are the video-on-demand platforms, Disney +, Hulu and ESPN +, which grossed $ 4 billion over one year.
Despite its apparent good health, the Disney + streaming service is experiencing slower-than-expected growth.
Analysts estimated that the platform would reach 109 million subscribers, but ultimately only 103.6 million.
An announcement that disappointed investors, quickly followed by a stock market sanction: Disney lost 4% Thursday during electronic trading after the close.
