The gendarmes are still looking for Valentin Marcone, 29, suspected of having killed his employer and a colleague on Tuesday in a sawmill in Plantiers (Gard).

This Friday, on France Info, the public prosecutor of Nîmes, Eric Maurel, declared that they "have absolutely no trace of him".

In total, more than 300 gendarmes are mobilized in this manhunt, whose "objective is to achieve his surrender as peaceful as possible," said Eric Maurel.
