The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported this Friday another 601 deaths and 27,363 new cases of coronavirus throughout the country, the highest figures this week.
Thus, since the beginning of the pandemic, Argentina has
accumulated 69,853 fatalities and 3,269,466 infections.
For the eighth consecutive day,
the number of patients admitted to intensive care increased
, from 5,420 to 5,457.
The occupancy of beds is located at 76.1% in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires (AMBA) and 69.5% in the rest of the country.
In the last hours, 82,695 tests were carried out,
with a positivity of 33%.
Since the beginning of the outbreak, 12,224,943 diagnostic tests for this disease have been performed.
Regarding the vaccination plan, in the next few hours a new batch of 489,600 doses of
Sputnik V will
begin to arrive in the next few hours to all the jurisdictions of the country.
According to the distribution criteria established by the sanitary portfolio, based on the population of each district, the province of Buenos Aires has 193,200 doses and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires 33,600.
According to the Public Vaccination Monitor, the online registry that shows in real time the immunization operation throughout the Argentine territory, until this Friday 11,373,872 vaccines were distributed and those applied total 9,704,364: 7,953,562 people received the first dose and 1,750,802 both.

On Thursday morning, the fifteenth Aerolineas Argentinas flight arrived from the Russian Federation with 500,000 doses of vaccines against Covid-19.
The Ministry of Health specified that this shipment will make it possible to finish inoculating with a dose to all those over 60 who registered throughout the country.
