Nevertheless, many people are still waiting for their corona vaccination appointment.
There is a very simple trick to be able to arrange this more quickly.

If you would like to get an appointment for the first Corona vaccination by phone, it means: Welcome to the hotline hell!
With a very simple trick it is now possible to avoid annoying waiting times.
The consumer advice center NRW published this move - on their Facebook account.
There it says: “To arrange a corona vaccination appointment for you or your relatives, you can, for example, dial the nationwide uniform number 116117.
It often takes several attempts to actually reach someone.
Before that, you are guided through a selection menu. ”And there is usually a lot of time left in the selection menus.
But these can easily be skipped.

Especially now during Corona times, the telephone load is extremely high.
The hotline therefore recommends switching to online booking options.
When calling, you can therefore accept longer waiting times - sometimes even several hours.
“There is a trick to make things go faster: save all the necessary digits with the phone number in your phone and insert commas.
For a comma, hold down the star key (*) a little longer.
Each of these ensures a pause for voting of around 2 seconds, ”writes the consumer advice center on Facebook.

There are now two ways to save valuable time when making an appointment for the first vaccination.
Is it about an appointment in your region or is it an appointment in another region or in another federal state?
It is relatively easy if you want to make an appointment in your region.
1. Dial the number “116117”.
2. Then keep the * key pressed until a comma appears on your display.
3. Then enter "12" and call the number.
You should see “116117.12” on your screen.
You have to do a little more input work if you want to make an appointment (e.g. for a relative) in another region or in another federal state.
1. Dial the number "116117" again.
2. Then keep the * key pressed until a comma appears on your display.
3. Now enter the number "121" and hold down the * key again until another comma appears.
4. Now you have to enter the postcode of the respective place in which the appointment is to be arranged.
Then call the number you entered.
For example, if you want to contact the city of Munich, your number should now look like this: "116117,121,80333"
Not every federal state currently offers appointments by telephone.
These include Brandenburg, Berlin, Bremen, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Rhineland-Palatinate, Lower Saxony and Saarland.
In all other federal states, the NRW consumer advice center can save valuable time.
