Three girls playing scratched numerous cars in Linnich, North Rhine-Westphalia, in the Düren district.
So far, 33 damaged cars are known, the police said on Sunday.
The children between the ages of nine and ten were out on the street together on Friday.
They scratched the paint on the parked cars with stones.
One of the girls later told her mother about it, who in turn informed the officers.
The police estimated the damage on Sunday at 60,000 euros so far.
It was initially unclear who would have to pay for this.
