(ANSA) - RAVENNA, MAY 14 - Consolidate the enhancement of the cult in the seventh centenary of the death of Dante Alighieri with a contemporary and usable staging, which uses new languages to account for the Comedy and Dante's legacy.
This is the goal that guided the Ravenna Municipal Administration, Department of Culture, in the construction of the new Dante Museum, a stone's throw from the tomb, open to the public from Sunday 16 May.
Nine rooms, for 375 square meters, which will welcome visitors, in which the numerous and precious historical objects are further enhanced by the presence of over 400 images and 250 texts: the room of time, that of the face, the Montevideo room, the two halls of worship, the hall of fame and the three of the Divine Comedy.
The exhibition was presented in the presence, among others, of the president of the Emilia-Romagna Region Stefano Bonaccini and the mayor of Ravenna Michele de Pascale. Tomorrow 15 May, at 10 am the inauguration is scheduled in the presence of the Minister of Education Patrizio Bianchi. (HANDLE).
