"Today I want to bring the sufferings of your people to the altar of the Lord and pray with you that God may convert the hearts of all to peace".
The Pope said this during the Mass in St. Peter's for the community of the faithful of Myanmar.
"May Jesus' prayer help us to guard the faith even in difficult moments, to be builders of unity, to risk our lives for the truth of the Gospel", Francis affirmed.
"Where there is war, violence, hatred, being faithful to the Gospel and artisans of peace means committing oneself, even through social and political choices, risking one's life. Only in this way can things change", he added.
