Covid: cases in the world exceed 163 million

Three million more in four days (ANSA)  Coronavirus cases globally have today exceeded the 163 million threshold: this is what emerges from the counts of John Hopkins University. According to the American university, 163,072,423 infections, including 3,379,462 deaths, have so far been recorded in the world since the beginning of the pandemic. The contagion toll had exceeded 160 million last Thursday, just four days ago.
