(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 17 - Coronavirus cases at a global level today exceeded the threshold of 163 million: this is what emerges from the counts of Johns Hopkins University.
According to the American university, 163,072,423 infections, including 3,379,462 deaths, have so far been recorded in the world since the beginning of the pandemic.
The contagion toll had exceeded 160 million last Thursday, just four days ago.
