Fauci recalled that only one pathogen has been eradicated so far, that of smallpox.
The Covid vaccine to be taken in pills "is not yet a reality", but "we are working on it together with Pfizer".
"In the US we are vaccinating adolescents aged 12 and over with Pfizer, and I believe that the green light for vaccinations from this age will be given very soon also in Italy and elsewhere, because the data we have is very safe".
