(ANSA) - TOKYO, MAY 17 - The Tokyo Stock Exchange starts the first session of the week with a plus sign, consolidating the recovery started last Friday, after the recovery of US indexes, and awaiting macroeconomic data from China, on industrial production and retail sales.
At the opening, the Nikkei moved up by 0.67% to 28,282.67, and a gain of 188 points.
On the currency market, the loyen is stable on the dollar at 109.40, while it loses ground on the euro at 132.90 (ANSA).
