A dozen starred pastry chefs have made a 30-meter-long cake, offering them their place in the Guinness Book of Recor

A thousand eggs, 36 kg of chocolate, and three days of frantic work: that's what it took for these pastry chefs to make their cake fit in the Guinness Book of Records.

There were a dozen of them in front of the Opéra Garnier on Sunday May 16, 2021 to create an opera more than 30 meters in length.

At the origin of this idea, Victor Habchy, influencer and creator of Guide Ultime, a guide to the best places to eat at low prices in Paris.

“We had already made a giant tiramisu of 600 parts and we had a lot of coffee left.

We said to ourselves "what can we do with this?"

", And we thought of the opera".

About fifty people took part in the organization of this operation.

Nearly 3,000 shares were distributed to Ile-de-France residents, who first had to register online to avoid gatherings.

The surpluses were donated to student associations.
