(ANSAmed) - TEL AVIV, MAY 17 - Palestinian President AbuMazen today received the envoy of the US State Department, Hadi Amr, in Ramallah (West Bank). In the meeting, according to the official Wafa news agency, he asked the Biden administration "to intervene to put an end to Israel's aggression against the Palestinian people, to stop that escalation and to start efforts to reach a political solution based on international legitimacy".
Amr, according to Wafa, agreed that escalation must be stopped and calm should be restored. "The United States is moving in that direction," he assured. (ANSAmed).
