(ANSA) - BARI, MAY 17 - The former investigating judge of the Bari Court Giuseppe De Benedictis confessed to being the only owner of some of the weapons, including war weapons, seized last April 29 in a farm in Andria, in the North of Bari.
Before the investigating magistrate of Lecce Giulia Proto, the former judge, who is held in prison for arms trafficking and also for a previous incident of bribes, answered the questions by partially admitting the alleged crimes. "I am a collector with a sick passion for weapons" he would have said, denying both relations with organized crime and having the keys of the farm where the arsenal was found. (HANDLE).
