A drop in consumption of 1,831 euros each in 2020, with an increase in savings of 82 billion, is the effect of the uncertainty caused by the coronavirus that slows the recovery: confidence is growing in the near future but pessimists continue to prevail over optimists . For half of the Italians, the priorities remain work and trust. So much so that 20% have already decided they will not go on vacation this summer and almost half of the families (47.4%) have not yet decided what they will do. Instead, it will be spent to increase home comfort. These are some of the results of the Confcommercio-Censis report on the impact of the pandemics

"The pandemic is waning and the conditions are in place to restart safely. Businesses need more normality and certainty in order to plan their activities", says the president of Confcommercio Carlo Sangalli. "Beginning - he adds - with more robust supports that have yet to arrive. We need to accelerate to recover the losses and strengthen economic growth that is still too weak".
