Enit opens to the public the Historical Archive of Italian Tourism (https://www.mostrevirtuali.enit.it/ enforcement_prova/), over 100 thousand of slides, posters and digitized photos and constant updating as the finds reappear. The National Tourism Agency is now also looking for non-registered assets in the availability of private art collections and galleries.On the occasion of the reorganization of the majestic archive, the recovery of the artistic posters will be carried out, which unfortunately have been lost over the years. A real census of all the works on the market today that Enit commissioned and produced between the 1920s and 1970s in line with its mission: the promotion of Italy abroad. The current activity is part of the broad project of systematization, cataloging, study and enhancement of the cultural heritage started by Enit on the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of the foundation (2019) of the Agency. This impressive systematization work has made it possible so far to digitize 20 thousand records including posters, photos, slides, negatives, slides and publishing, which will become a total of 160 thousand by the end of 2023,and allowed the creation of a single centralized and digital archive that can be made online.
