(ANSA) - TEL AVIV, MAY 17 - "Hamas is carrying out a double war crime: it launches rockets on the civilian population and used its citizens as numan shields".
Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu said this in a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel who "reaffirmed her complete support for the protection of Israel".
Netanyahu also thanked Merkel for the government's actions against anti-Semitic elements in Germany (ANSA).
