This is called a coup de théâtre.
Literally.
This Monday evening, singer Matt Pokora announces on his social networks that he will for the first time take the stage in the comedy "The great ambitions".
This creation will be launched at the Théâtre de la Madeleine (Paris, 8th arrondissement) from September 17th.
For this unprecedented theater experience, he will be alongside Philippe Lellouche and Estelle Lefébure, already partners in “The invitation”.
It is moreover the author of this successful play, Hadrien Raccah, who signs the text of “Grandes ambitions”.

Matt Pokora, actor?
A first at the theater… but not a very short first.
In 2019, the singer was at the origin of a TV movie on Alzheimer's disease, "The first forgotten", in which he gave the answer to his fictional mother, Muriel Robin.
A telefilm adapted from the eponymous novel by Cyril Massarotto which had upset Matt Pokora who had initiated its transcription on the screen.
“My grandfather died in 2009 from Alzheimer's.
It seemed important to me to talk about the disease, which affects a lot of people, the musician insisted at the time.
This TV movie shows how hard it is for the person who loses his mind and his bearings and very unsettling for those around him.
My grandfather was a soldier, a rock, and he started to greet me when I was 13 years old, he didn't know who I was anymore.
"
Change of register, it is with a comedy that Matt Pokora launches into the theater.
"My friend Philippe Lellouche made me read
Les grandes ambitions
last summer and I laughed a lot, a lot, a lot", writes Matt Pokora on his Instagram account.
The singer gave last December at the Seine Musicale, in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine), the last show of his aborted tour. Health crisis requires, the concert was offered remotely, in "live streaming". This time, it is in front of a real audience that Matt Pokora should perform at the start of the school year.
