WhatsApp is said to be working on a new feature for its users.
This is a "Disappearing Mode" - an extension of the self-erasing messages.

WABetaInfo is now revealing details about a new feature: the "Disappearing Mode" in German, the disappearing mode.
This should give users more privacy.
In the future, this mode will enable the function of self-deleting messages to be activated for all chats.
Until now, this was only possible for individual chats.
The Disapperaring Mode should be found in the WhatsApp settings in the future.
If this is activated, the self-deleting messages are activated for all chats that are started again.
This means that the user no longer has to set this function manually and individually in each chat.
The self-erasing messages is a function in which messages disappear from a chat after a certain period of time.
At the end of April, WABetaInfo reported another change in WhatsApp, which many users must have waited a long time for.

It is not yet known when the new mode will be available.
Initially, the new feature will appear as usual for the beta version.
If the mode then passes this test phase, it will probably be available for both Android and Apple users.
The new feature should especially please those users who value their privacy.
After all, the messages can no longer be found after a certain period of time.
With the new usage guidelines, WhatsApp has received a lot of criticism and has lost the trust of many users.
At first it was said that users who did not agree to the new terms and conditions by May 15, could no longer use the messenger.
Now WhatsApp has postponed this for a few weeks.
Only then should the functions gradually no longer be available without agreeing to the terms of use.
