Zampaglione, Morrison? More than a movie it is a song

MORRISON by FedericoZampaglione demonstrates how you can make, without too much money, a film that is not boring and with a happy ending, but nothing rhetorical. It is also true that the leader of the Tiromancino, in his fourth film, after the horror drift puts his hand to a theme he knows well, that of music, an art that - as can be seen in this work, in cinemas from 20 May with VisionDistribution - bless or damn. "More than a film I consider Morrison a song by Tiromancino" says Zampaglione at a press conference in Rome. The story - taken from Zampaglione's novel 'Dove tuttoè a mezzo', published by Mondadori, written together with Giacomo Gensini - brings together two generations of musicians:that of the twenty-year-old Lodo (Lorenzo Zurzolo) and that of the fifty-year-old LiberoFerri (Giovanni Calcagno). The first is a musician in search of visibility and, the other, a veteran who has known success and is now in full crisis. Lodo lives all the difficulties of his age with a lot of difficult relationship with a bulky father and absent mother. A shy boy who performs every Thursday with the Mob, an indie band, in a legendary Roman club, the Morrison, and lives in a shared apartment with two other people including the beautiful Giulia (Carlotta Antonelli), an aspiring actress. Libero Ferri, on the other hand, a former rock star with a great success behind him, lives isolated in his luxurious villa full of memories, still tries to return to the limelight, but ends up withdrawing more and more in himself, neglecting his sweet wife Luna (Giglia Marra).It is inevitable that Lodo and Libero Ferri sooner or later meet to discuss and not only. In the cast of the film also Riccardo De Filippis (Giorni, Romanzocriminale) and Adamo Dionisi (Suburra, The Shift) and cameos by ErmalMeta and Alessandra Amoroso.
