Even without a green thumb, it is possible to put beautiful plants in your living room.
How about a bottle garden?
A bottle garden is actually nothing more than a self-contained biotope. And the best thing about it: you don't have to do a lot for it. The plants in the small garden can provide themselves with the essentials. The Briton David Latimer came up with the idea. He put a substrate and plant seeds in a tight container and only very rarely opened it over the years. This shows how easy it is to care for the bottle garden. So it's ideal for everyone without green fingers who still want a beautiful plant in their room.
The only thing you should actually look out for is the right location.
It is important that the plants are in a bright place and get enough light.
Care should also be taken to turn the container every now and then.
After all, not only one side of the plant should receive sufficient sunlight.

Properly care for plants in the bottle garden
Even if the bottle garden is basically self-sufficient and easy to care for, it is worth keeping an eye on it.
Diseases or pests can be treated quickly.
For example, pay attention to the
moisture content in the container
.
In the morning it will be fogged from the inside.
The droplets should dry out during the day.
If this is not the case, you should open the container for a while so that the moisture can escape.
Otherwise, mold could quickly form in the bottle garden.
