The 2-1 defeat by Nantes in March quickly became a minor matter for footballers Marquinhos and Ángel Di María: the stars of Paris Saint-Germain fell victim to burglars while they were on the pitch.
Now the French police have apparently arrested four suspects.
The news agencies Reuters and AFP report.
The men are therefore 18 to 29 years old, further details about them were not given.
When the Argentine Di María broke into his home, his family is said not to have noticed anything.
In the case of the break-in into the house of Marquinhos, however, the burglars are said to have used violence against family members of the Brazilian.
No family member was injured, it said.
The thieves allegedly stole a bag and 1,500 euros in cash.
The financial damage at Di María is said to have been much higher: According to media reports, the burglars stole jewels and watches worth at least half a million euros.
It happens again and again that football stars become victims of burglars during games.
In 2019, for example, Kevin-Prince Boateng jewels worth 300,000 euros were stolen while he was on the pitch for FC Barcelona.
Today's Bayern player Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting was broken into twice during his time at Paris Saint-Germain.
