There are 4,452 coronavirus test positives in Italy in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health.
Yesterday there were 3,455.
Instead, 201 victims in one day, 140 yesterday.
The tests carried out were 262,864, with a positivity rate of 1.7%.
Patients in intensive care therapy are 1,689 (-65 compared to yesterday) while those hospitalized with symptoms are 11,539 (-485).
The currently positive in Italy are 315,308 (-7,583), while those discharged or recovered are 3,727,220 (+11,831).
The victims are instead 124,497.
In Lazio the slowdown continues, 348 positives, 204 in Rome
- "Today out of over 11 thousand swabs in Lazio (+915) and almost 17 thousand antigenic for a total of over 28 thousand tests, 348 new positive cases (-40) are recorded, deaths are 14 (-3), 1519 (-44) were hospitalized. 1023 healed, 216 (-19) intensive care ".

In Puglia 21 deaths and 407 new infections, 3.5% of the tests
- Today in Puglia, out of 11,684 tests carried out, 407 positive cases were recorded, with an incidence of 3.5% (yesterday it was 3.3%). 21 deaths were also recorded (same number of deaths as yesterday). The hospitalized are 1,159 (64 less than yesterday). Since the beginning of the emergency, 2,396,787 tests have been carried out. There are 36,789 Apulians currently positive (838 less than yesterday), out of a total of 246,901 infected since the beginning of the pandemic. 203,808 patients recovered, an increase of 1,224 in 24 hours. The new infections are 125 in the province of Bari, 58 in the province of Brindisi, 71 in the province of BAT, 24 in the province of Foggia, 77 in the province of Lecce, 51 in the province of Taranto, 1 case of resident outside the region. The deaths are 9 in the province of Bari, 2 in the province of Brindisi, 3 in the province of BAT, 2 in the province of Foggia,5 in the province of Taranto. Overall, 6,304 people from Puglia have died from Covid since the beginning of the pandemic.
Infections in ER are still decreasing, ten deaths
- After yesterday's record, infections are still falling in Emilia-Romagna: they were 331 in the last 24 hours, it is the new lowest figure of 2021, this time however identified on a much higher number of swabs, 24,655, between molecular and antigenic . Ten are the victims. Of the 331 new positives (mean age 36.7 years) 117 are asymptomatic, identified through screening and contact tracing. The provinces with the highest number of new positives are Bologna (71) and Parma (65). The active cases are still decreasing and are 22,281, 94.8% of which in home isolation. The decline in hospitalizations also continues: there are 149 patients in intensive care, seven fewer than yesterday, while those in Covid wards are 1,003 (-59). The dead, aged between 68 and 99, are three in the province of Ravenna, two in Parma, Bologna and Ferrara, one in the Modena area.There have been 13,107 deaths in the region since the start of the pandemic.
In Piedmont 437 positive, 21 deaths and -66 hospitalized
- In Piedmont there are 437 new positive cases at Covid, with a rate of 2% compared to the 21,631 diagnostic swabs processed (12,371 antigenic); the share of asymptomatic people is 48.3%. The dead are 21, the hospitalized in intensive care are 139 (- 1 compared to yesterday), in the other wards 1,114 (-65). The people in home isolation are 8,703, the healed +878, the total of the currently positive falls below 10 thousand, to 9,956. The data was released by the Region's Crisis Unit.
In Calabria zero victims, it had not happened since January
- No victims from Covid 19 have been recorded in Calabria in the last 24 hours. It hadn't happened since last January 19th and, previously, since October 25th. Deaths since the beginning of the pandemic thus remain stable at 1,120. The contagion curve is also slowing: they are "only" 108 positive compared to 3,153 tested, with a positive rate of 3.42%. The decline in hospitalizations in the medical area also continues (-9, 347) while those in intensive care have increased by 3 (26). Isolates at home decreased by 290 (11,115) and by 296 active cases (11,488) while cured cases rose by 404 (52,203). To date, 765,740 subjects have been tested for 831,812 swabs and 64,811 positive.
