The series from the novel by HG Wells made its comeback Monday on Canal +. Viewers were able to discover the first two episodes of season 2 and find the multiple survivors they had left on a cliffhanger. Summary of the first two episodes of season 2 of War of the Worlds
Divided, the survivors will try to regain control of the Earth in this second season entitled "The Confrontation". In France, astronomer Catherine Durand (Léa Drucker) is accompanied by her sister and Colonel Mustafa Mokrani (Adel Bencherif), when she discovers a pacifist alien named Micah. The human appearance of the enemies is no longer in doubt, as the alien confides in Catherine that she absolutely must find Professor Bill Ward (Gabriel Byrne). Devastated by the death of his ex-wife and his son, the latter, still in London, is working on the design of a virus, capable of decimating invaders. For her part, the young Emily is confronted with the vision of Adina (Ania Sowinski), leader of the aliens, who asks her to kill Bill.
