In the video: Yulia Omri on dealing with multiple sclerosis (Editing: Stick Pages)

Public service. Served under the auspices of Madison and in partnership with the Home for Multiple Sclerosis Association,

"The first signs started in 2016. After that, one day I just did not see with one eye at all. " According to her, it was only after a year, when she once again experienced a certain seizure and blurring of vision, that she received the diagnosis that she had multiple sclerosis.

"Because I did not know what this disease was, my first question was how long do I have left to live? The neurologist told me with a smile that I do not die of MS but there may be certain things I can not do. I remember the question that preoccupied me the most was: I can not do, so maybe I will start asking myself what can I do? '".

Julia says that today after being treated with medication she feels good and goes on with her life. "I started a financial management business and today I work as a freelancer and still a careerist with a lot of clients. I invest a lot in myself and my lifestyle."

In addition, she says that she was invited by an international organization to be the first ambassador from Israel to OMS recovering, an organization that promotes values for managing a healthy lifestyle for MS patients. "I give lectures on my personal story and also lecture in front of medical students and today I listen to myself first," Julia says. "Health-wise I feel even healthier than I was before I was diagnosed with the disease I was exposed to a hidden potential that helped me discover things that before the diagnosis I could not get to. I really started thinking about the next step and looking a little further ahead."
