Annuities: the Senate Guarantee Council confirms the restitution

The Senate guarantee council confirmed the first instance ruling which returned the annuities to Roberto Formigoni and other parliamentarians from whom he had been removed as convicted.

The votes in favor were three and two against, Alberto Balboni of FdI and Valeria Valente of the Pd. 

"Tonight the Senate Guarantee Council decided that returning the annuity to the condemned was a right decision. In the face of all restaurateurs, traders and VAT numbers in difficulty, in spite of all the families who do not make it to arrive at the end of the month, in spite of those who receive ridiculous pensions. But these people are not ashamed? We will not stop and fight, as always, against this attempt at a vulgar restoration of the old privileges. M5S deputy Stefano Buffagni writes.

This was stated in a note by the exponents of the 5 Star Movement Paola Taverna, vice president of the Senate, Laura Bottici, commissioner of Palazzo Madama and Gianluca Perilli. "As long as privileges were to be assigned to the few of the caste, theautonomy of the Senate, now that instead there is to apply rules of civilization and rigor, then autonomy is no longer needed and one appeals in an instrumental way even to the law on Citizenship Income and Quota 100 as well as to sentences interpreted forcibly.
