During the last investor conference, investors revealed some information about the future of "Assassin's Creed".
The "Assassin's Creed" series has taken players to many different places around the world.
Most recently they were allowed to explore medieval England as Vikings in “Assassin's Creed Valhalla” *.
For fans, the question is always exciting, where the developers will move the scene next.
So far, Ubisoft has not revealed anything.
At a previous investor conference, however, they already revealed some information about the next game.
"Assassin's Creed": Ubisoft is sticking to the current gameplay formula
A lot has changed in the gameplay of "Assassin's Creed" since the first game. Originally, the focus was on sneaking and climbing paired with real historical events and figures. Meanwhile, the protagonists throw themselves into great battles. Even if many fans want a return to the origins, the success of "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" proves that the developers are not doing much wrong with the current approach. After all,
the
game is
the most successful part of the series to date
.
Ubisoft has therefore indicated at the investor conference that they will not change much in the gameplay formula.
This means that players in the next part
RPG
-
elements
can expect and the parkour elements from the first "Assassin's Creed" portions will probably continue to be less important.

"Assassin's Creed": Where will the next part take place?
Regarding the setting for the next "Assassin's Creed" part, there are already some rumors.
According to these speculations, Europe at the time of the Holy Roman Empire and thus medieval France and Germany could serve as the setting.
Japan has also been a fan favorite for years - but here Sony has come first with the PlayStation exclusive "Ghost of Tsushima".
Nevertheless, feudal Japan can certainly not be ruled out as a setting for "Assassin's Creed".
South America or China would also be interesting.
It is clear that the developers still have a lot of options.
