(ANSA) - TEL AVIV, MAY 19 - The Israeli air force attacks on the Hamas tunnel network in Gaza continued.
According to military spokesman Hidai Zilberman 40 targets were hit with the destruction of another 12 kilometers of weapons depots and command centers: at least 10 Hamas and Jihad members killed.
The attacks - he explained - were concentrated in KhanYunis and Rafah in the southern Strip from where most of the rockets on Israel depart.
Zilberman then said that Hamas tried to hit aviation bases "but failed".
