(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 19 - The presence of new services on the IO app is growing at a rapid pace, conceived to be the mobile access point to all the digital services of the Public Administration. A little more than a year after the arrival of IO on the app store in the spring of 2020, over 5 thousand public bodies, starting with the municipalities, have brought more than 12 thousand services on this new digital channel available to citizens and PA. The number of downloads of the app is also continuously increasing, now exceeding 11.3 million. For many citizens, IO has become a familiar tool, to be used in everyday life: on average 3.4 million people open and consult the app weekly. This is the balance sheet contained in a PAgoPA note.

From April 2020 to today, the data relating to the diffusion of IO - among the platforms in charge of the company PagoPA SpA to accelerate the digital transition - show a progressive adoption of the app by public administrations throughout the national territory. In particular, an acceleration has been observed since the beginning of 2021. According to the pace recorded only in the last month, every day almost 30 organizations make their entry into the app, making about 50 new services available.

Over 95% of the entities present on IO today are made up of Municipalities - small and large, from North to South - which have started the process of integrating their digital services into the app, so as to offer all citizens a new experience of interaction with the State , simpler, more modern and effective.
