Every Sunday, one of our journalists opens the secret garden of his favorite series, recent or very old.

The panting: "the Mantis"

"La Mante" completely grabbed me.

A breathtaking thriller led by Carole Bouquet in the role of a serial killer and Fred Testot, her son who cut ties since he was 10 years old, that nightmare day when his monstrous mother was arrested.

I investigated the last three episodes in one evening, embarked by a scenario of a tasty darkness.

Carole Bouquet only smiles in memory of his crimes, Fred Testot desperately seeks happiness.

The pace is never slow or cluttered with indigestible chases.

My teenage daughter and her boyfriend jumped in on my excitement, asking in Episode 5, "When is Season 2 coming out?"

“La Mante”

, 6 episodes of 52 minutes (on TF 1 in 2017), available on Netflix.

The feminist: "Signed Cat's Eyes"

This Japanese cartoon rocked my Sunday afternoon blues.

She stood out in the landscape of youth programs, with her trio of thieving heroines and classes at the same time.

Sisters Sylia, Tam, and Alex run a cafe by day and turn into thieves at night.

I loved Alex's humor, the youngest, Sylia's calm character, the brains of the gang, and Tam's athletic leaps.

The story evolves in a dark setting and a melancholy atmosphere.

The tastiest remaining all the penalties deployed by Quentin, the police officer, to try to stop this gang.

A cheeky and feminist cartoon!

"Signé Cat's Eyes

"

, 73 24-minute episodes (1986), available on TFX.

The superheroine: "Wonder Woman"

It was because of Lynda Carter, mythical Wonder Woman of the 1970s, that I wore glasses as a child.

Fascinated by this secretary who turned into a superheroine, I whirled while untangling my hair and singing "Wonder Womaaaan ...".

The skipping rope as a lasso, the headband launched like a boomerang, two rolls of toilet paper covered with aluminum for the anti-bullet bracelets.

My mother finally gave in by taking me to the ophthalmologist for glasses.

But this accessory is less glamorous in CE 2. In the playground, transforming your skipping rope into a magic lasso was well worth ten minutes of corner.

"Wonder Woman",

3 seasons, 60 episodes (1975-1979), the complete available on DVD.

The family: "The Little House on the Prairie"

This is the series that has always made me go from laughs to tears.

A wise family of 19th century pioneers in Minnesota, a life strewn with misfortunes but also with courage and solidarity.

The quality of the children's acting impressed me.

From the heroine Laura Ingalls (Melissa Gilbert), to her big sister Mary (Melissa Sue Anderson), through this plague of Nellie Oleson (Alison Arngrim) who made you want to pull on her blonde curls.

Behind the good feelings and the harshness of everyday life, the series tackles money problems, alcoholism, racism.

What tears of sadness when Mary loses her sight.

"La Petite Maison dans la prairie",

9 seasons (1974 to 1983), available on 6ter.

The British: "Yours sincerely"

A magical duo, a tandem of thunder.

Roger Moore as Lord Brett Sinclair and Tony Curtis as Daniel Wilde.

A British aristocrat and a New York businessman, wealthy idlers and good talkers, accomplish missions in the midst of the underworld.

The background does not matter, it is the shock between Sinclair's British humor and Wilde's pranks that hit the mark in this series which was stifled in the United States by the success of "Mission Impossible".

"Amicalement vôtre",

24 episodes (1971-1972), available on DVD from 47.99 euros.
