(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 23 - The death toll of people who died during a marathon in the mountains in China, on which bad weather struck, rises to 21 victims.
All the other competitors are safe and sound, as reported by the New China agency according to which "at 3 am 151 participants were put into insecurity".
A total of 172 participants took part in the competition which took place in the Stone Forest of the Yellow River, near the city of Baiyin, in the province of Gansu.
Eight participants were treated in hospital for some injuries sustained.
