The Israeli Ministry of Health issued a

"severe warning"

to travel to Argentina, given the increase in cases and the tension in the health system due to the second wave of coronavirus.

It also included the Seychelles and Russia on the list.

The complex situation that Argentina is going through, with a rising case curve and more than 35 thousand infections a day, in addition to a rise in the number of deaths,

put the Israeli authorities on alert

, who achieved herd immunity by vaccinating much of its population.

According to the

Jewish News Agency

, the Israeli Ministry warned that "if there is no significant improvement in the level of morbidity", then "it

will enter the list of destinations of immediate risk, to which the flight will be prohibited

.

"

Until now, countries such as Ukraine, Ethiopia, Brazil, India, South Africa, Mexico and Turkey were part of that list, to which you can travel with the approval of an

"Exceptions Committee"

.

Meanwhile, according to current regulations, all passengers entering Israel from these countries must comply with

mandatory isolation

, including those who have been discharged or have completed the vaccination cycle.

After traversing the peaks of the pandemic with strict quarantines, Israel began to return to

normal

.

In recent days, the Tel Aviv International Airport had a significant passenger traffic, with Greece and Cyprus being the most sought after destinations.

Last week Israeli state television (KAN) reported that the Health Ministry is preparing a list of "green countries", that is, those with a high immunization rate.

These would include the United Kingdom and some areas of the United States.
