More than 200 thousand doses of vaccines against the coronavirus from
AstraZeneca
arrived in the country this Sunday on a KLM company flight, while at dawn the sixteenth flight of Aerolineas Argentinas left for Moscow to bring more doses of Sputnik V.
Flight KL701 landed at Ezeiza international airport at 6.14 am from Amsterdam with
204,000 doses
of AstraZeneca purchased by the Argentine government through the Covax mechanism, coordinated by the World Health Organization.
According to official sources, on Monday afternoon, meanwhile, another
843,000 doses of AstraZeneca
will be arriving
from the United States,
which are part of the first delivery of the contract signed by Argentina for 22.4 million doses.
Meanwhile, this morning an Aerolineas Argentinas plane departed for Moscow, the sixteenth of the flag company to that destination to bring Sputnik V vaccines, and its return is scheduled for Monday afternoon.
As it transpired, there
would be 600 thousand doses of the first component.
The next flight with Sputnik V will arrive on Monday afternoon.

The Airbus 330-200 aircraft, registration LV-GIF, under number AR1060 took off at 2.32am from Ezeiza International Airport and will arrive at Sheremetievo International Airport around 0.30am (Moscow local time) on Monday, while it is expected his arrival in the country for 16:30 on Monday.
According to reports, a second flight to Russia is expected this week.
President Alberto Fernández himself had announced on the national network that "one million" vaccines would arrive before the end of the month.

In addition, there were five flights to China in which 3,659,200 of Sinopharm vaccines arrived in the country.
In this way, in 20 completed flights, Aerolineas Argentinas contributed 10,692,490 doses of vaccines against Covid-19.
