The ticking of a clock sounds. The camera moves forward, and stops on two people sitting at the reception, motionless, staring blank. Suddenly the phone rings. It is 9:30 am, it is time for the deconfinement of cultural places! One of the two receptionists gets up in panic, and starts running in the opera, to the frantic rhythm of
Carmen
by Georges Bizet. The man climbs the stairs four by four, runs in the corridors before reaching a door, closed by a curtain. Inside, the members of the theater reception service, neatly arranged and wrapped like wax statues.
Gradually, all seem to come to life. The team puts on a protective mask against Covid-19, while
Carmen's
rising guard
continues to accompany them: "
We are coming here we are! Sounds bright tarata trumpet. We walk with our heads held high, like little soldiers
”. Everyone finds their post, and that's it! The doors of the Opéra-Comique finally open. "
The culture is deconfining, our reception service too!" We look forward to seeing you again
”, we can read on the screen.
A funny and original way to announce the return of the Opéra-Comique, or at least its reception service and ticket office on site.
Indeed, to enjoy the shows again, you will have to wait until the beginning of June.
