Because HR professionals usually do not have the time to thoroughly examine applications, they only pay attention to the most important information in the résumé.
You can find out what these are here.
In large companies, an abundance of applications land in the recruiter's mailbox every day.
It goes without saying that there is little time left to filter out the candidates with the most promising résumés.
In fact, recruiters should
only take 7.4 seconds
to subdivide application documents into important and unimportant during a first check.
This is the result of a study by the American job portal
TheLadders
from 2018.

This is what your resume should look like to pass the first HR test
To pass this first test run, your résumé should be in tip top shape. That means in plain language: Make your curriculum vitae (CV) as clear as possible. Use
simple layouts
and
fonts
. Since recruiters "scan" the resume for job titles and subheadings, these should be
bolded to
stand out from the rest of the text.
Make sure you avoid packing too much information into your CV.
When describing your accomplishments,
short, memorable descriptions are
easier to process than long paragraphs.
The curriculum vitae should also not be longer than two pages.
Still relevant and helpful: State the most important keywords that are relevant to the position and are mentioned in the job advertisement.
