When the inspectors vibrate with ambition: The Weser "crime scene" with Jasna Fritzi Bauer came across as rather hypothermic. Or do you have a different opinion?

Moorman (Jasna Fritzi Bauer) with Andersen (Dar Salim): Poled for a career

At the end it became thoughtful again: “People, if the crimes are committed, are they themselves? And if that's the truth, where else is it in your life? ”Asked Liv Moormann (Jasna Fritzi Bauer) after the unleashed finale including the chase and prevented suicide attempt. Then the new commissioner, who had previously milled unasked and unaffected in the case of a missing baby, suddenly became very sensitive. Before that it had become clear: Moormann and her also quite young colleague Linda Selb (Luise Wolfram) don’t give each other anything.

In our review we wrote: »The filmmakers find a good, cool sound with which they capture the career-conscious triumphs of their heroines. But the generation transfer is problematic in some points: The fact that the nerd commissioners are given a slightly older, cooler dog is an unfortunate construction. The Danish actor Dar Salim plays the Danish investigator Mads Andersen, who is not exactly known why he is investigating in Bremen and who only wants to go back to Copenhagen. While Andersen's young colleagues vibrate somewhat unfavorably with ambition, he casually trudges through the plot, which is only half of interest to him anyway, because his thoughts are already in the old homeland. The less motivated it seemswhen at the end of a dramatically unnecessary car chase he has to jump from a speeding car onto a pick-up truck. Casual action hero meets career annoyance? In the end, that's a little too little for the year 2021 and the millennials that you want to reach with this ›crime scene‹. «We gave 6 out of 10 points. What do you think of the new team of investigators?

A second case by the team around Moormann, Selb and Andersen is already in the works.

It's about a person who has always selflessly stood up for others - but is now found in the harbor with a broken skull.

Why this hatred?

"And the night always wins" is the poetic title.

As in the opening episode, the script was provided by Christian Jeltsch and directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel.

("The downfall").
