An opportunity not to be missed: the children enthusiastically welcome the proposal to administer the anti-Covid vaccine to those who will have to face the final exams in a few weeks.

According to a survey carried out by the portal Skuola.net

on a sample of 1,600 graduates, over 6 out of 10 students would rush to get vaccinated and a further 17% would be strongly tempted

.

On balance, therefore, 80% of graduates are in favor

of early vaccination. With the rest that are divided in half between absolutely against the vaccine and in favor but not now. At this point the ball passes to the Regions: some - such as Lazio and Sicily - have already formalized the open days reserved for high school students, others will decide in these days.

Children want a fully safe Maturity, it is also understood by the widespread appreciation of the other idea recently advanced to minimize the risk of contagion during the exam: subjecting students, teachers and any accompanying persons to swabs or salivary tests before the test. Here the consensus is practically total: more than 9 out of 10 agree. With only one distinction: 57% think it is the right move regardless, 36% would like the tests to be free. In any case, just 7% would oppose this further preliminary step.

Even in the face of mass screening, then, many would not change the health protocol governing the examination by one iota: 2 out of 3 would maintain the obligation to wear the mask during the oral, almost 8 out of 10 would leave the distance between those present, 1 out of 2 would not make exceptions even on the staggered entry and exit on the day of the test. However, in case of certainty of a Covid-free audience, 2 out of 3 would open to a change: increase the number of accompanying persons (at the moment it is possible to bring only one).
