(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 25 - The Assembly of the Serie B football league, which was attended by all the envy-conference clubs, approved the start and end dates of the 2021/22 championship.

The cadet championship will start on August 21, with open day on Friday 20, and will end on May 6.

It will play, as tradition, in the 'boxing day' (December 26th) and then December 29th, with the winter break scheduled from December 30th to January 14th 2022. The championship will stop during the National matches.

The Assembly also approved the 'Goal line camera', which was illustrated by the president Mauro Balata and which will integrate the Var technology for all situations relating to the ball on the goal line; this also applies to fouls and offsides in the penalty area, thanks to a particular accuracy due to the high frame rate. The Assembly approved the proposal unanimously, identifying in the project an objective that qualifies and further enhances the Serie B.

The start of the Playoffs has been postponed from 5 to 12 June (with the final on 19) to allow the recovery of some matches of the Primavera 2 championship, while the Supercoppa will be played between Verona and Pescara, the two winning teams of the groups: date and place will be announced in the coming days . The Assembly finally approved the reform proposal for the Primavera2 championship which will be discussed on 9 June in the Federal Council. (HANDLE).
