This Monday, May 24, Canal + broadcast episodes 3 and 4 of the second season of War of the Worlds, a series inspired by the novel by HG Wells. If you missed these first four episodes, you can already watch them on the MyCanal on-demand service. In this second part, entitled "The Confrontation", the survivors will try to regain control of the Earth, now in the hands of the aliens and their charismatic leader Adina. In France, the astronomer Catherine Durand, played by Léa Drucker, is aware that she must find Bill Ward, the professor played by Gabriel Byrne, who is currently in London. For his part, the man tries to create a biological weapon capable of decimating the invaders, while keeping an eye on young Emily (Daisy Edgar-Jones),tightly connected to aliens.

Summary of episodes 3 and 4 of season 2 of The War of the Worlds

In London, driven by her connection with Adina, Emily tries to go after Bill Ward.

The latter then decides to secretly test his virus against the young woman.

For his part, Sacha (Mathieu Torloting) struggles to control his affection for Emily, which makes him more and more unpredictable.

Feeling in danger, Bill Ward finally chooses to run away.

But his decision could have disastrous consequences, since Catherine is finally looking for him, despite the death of Colonel Mustafa Mokrani (Adel Bencherif).

During these four episodes, the two groups of survivors that we hoped to see united are on the contrary more divided than ever.

To find out if they will manage to ally themselves against the alien threat, go to MyCanal or Canal +.
