. Comedy stars Hape Kerkeling and Michael Bully Herbig take on the leading roles. The latter recently celebrated an Amazon success: Herbig is the presenter of the comedy series "LOL: Last One Laughing" *. This production was so well received that it was promptly extended for a second season. By the way, it is already clear which celebrities will take part in the continuation of the show.
But back to “The Boandlkramer and Eternal Love”: Bully has already won over countless viewers with films such as “Der Schuh des Manitu” and “(T) Raumschiff Surprise - Period 1”.
Will director Joseph Vilsmaier's Amazon production be just as successful?
To answer this question, we took a closer look at the reviews.
"The Boandlkramer and Eternal Love": plot and actor of the Amazon film
As the title suggests, the Boandlkramer is related to the figure of the same name from "Brandner Kaspar".
However, Joseph Vilsmaier tells a completely different story.
In the film, Boandlkramer (Michael Bully Herbig), i.e. death, falls in love with a mortal.
In order to win her over, he gets into a deal with the devil (Hape Kerkeling).
As a person, the Boandlkramer finally has the opportunity to conquer his great love.
Because death temporarily resigns from service, however, the divine order gets mixed up.
In addition to Herbig and Kerkeling, the actors Hannah Herzsprung, Sebastian Bezzel, Sigi Zimmigart, Florian Brückner, Johannes Herrschmann, Thomas Unger, Rick Kavanian, Eisi Gulp and Götz Otto can be seen in other roles.

“The Boandlkramer and Eternal Love”: This is what the reviews on Amazon are like
Prime Video users have the option to rate content with a maximum of five stars.
At the moment, the reviews of “The Boandlkramer and Eternal Love” are mediocre.
Average 3.4 stars prove that viewers are divided (as of May 26, 2021).
44 percent gave the full number of points.
This is followed by the 1-star ratings with 26 percent.
The users criticized, among other things, a boring and flat plot and the humor, which not everyone likes.
In addition, some viewers complain about the "language barrier" because not everyone understands Bavarian.
Overall, however, the balanced positive and negative reviews show that “The Boandlkramer and Eternal Love” definitely cannot be described as a flop.
